The Bad Habits of the Eve of Eid Elkbir, the Muslims Holiday of Sacrifice
Summary
Eid Elkbir is a Muslim holiday that has gained bad habits. It was originally celebrated to show that the sacrifice was their commitment Allah, but now it is celebrated to impress others. Muslims go out and try to buy a ram that is big enough to feed their families and also bigger than their neighbor's. Even though Muslims do not have to buy a ram if they cannot afford it, they insist on getting loans for buying the ram each year the holiday comes by.
My Thoughts, Comments, and/or Reaction
I never understood the purpose of sacrificing creatures because I had not had much religious teachings. However, I still believe that this holiday has turned for the worse. These Muslims shouldn't be spending the money they don't have on impressing their neighbors for one day in the entire year.
