The Rank-Sized Rule is proved invalid when estimating the populations of the top five largest cities in Myanmar. Myanmar's largest city of Yangon has such a large population of over six million whereas the 5th largest population of Monywa is only about 400,000 when it was predicted to be at least a million. The other three cities are also nowhere close to the estimated populations based on the Rank-Sized Rule.
